No meal should be dull and mundane. Liven things up during the week with something new to pair with your everyday meals. These wines are chosen to go with foods that you would be eating seasonally for that month. For example, in the winter months, the reds will be chosen to go with slow-simmered dishes, while in the summer, the whites will go perfectly with fresh tomatoes and corn.

2014 Picollo Ernesto Gavi
The perfect wine for appetizers, light meats and fish. It’s light and crisp. Made from 100% Cortese grape in all stainless steel, it doesn’t try to be anything other than direct, and works nicely with salty appetizers. You will definitely want to reorder a few bottles of this one. The price is great and is handy to have around for you and/or your guests.

A lot is going on with this wine like a volley of flavors and tensions. Sharp citrus notes go to minerality and seems quick but the body is expansive so then it pings back to the sharp citrus notes and back and forth it goes. Great value for this complexity of flavor and body.
The importer writes: Sébastien Vincenti has revolutionized winemaking in the Ventoux. The 38-hectare estate is situated in Marzan. Sébastien’s ethics feed into every aspect of his process, from his passionate organic and biodynamic farming practices in the vineyard to his energy-efficient cellar and gentle winemaking methods. The incredible depth, purity, structure and simultaneous freshness of the wines make them accessible for both early consumption and cellar aging. 30% Grenache Blanc / 30% Roussanne / 30% Clairette /10% Rolle 2014 Domaine de Fondreche Ventoux Blanc

2012 Andre Brunel Cotes du Rhone Rouge France
Brunel gives yet another super friendly wine with great value. Nice soft texture but again enough teeth to make things interesting. Bold and brambly in the flavor house. Great party wine.
from the importer: The Grenache vines are head pruned, while Syrah is grown on wires. The yield is 30-35 hectoliters per hectare. The blend is 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 10% old-vine Cinsault. All fruits are handpicked and a 20 to 30 day maceration period follows. Pigeage takes place every day during fermentation, which is temperature-controlled at 82°F. The fermentation occurs in tanks, and the bottling is done with no fining and very light filtration. Wine Notes: Small red berry fruits, blackcurrant and cherries. Slight touch of spices. |
