Last year, I made a list of goals for 2009. Well, wouldn't you know it, life happened and got in the way of my to-do list. I ended the year with 3 out of the 5 goals completed. This year, I'm lowering the bar a little and choosing ONE WORD as my goal for the year. Something that seems simple but yet often so unattainable: my word for 2010 is "Centered." We all know what this means on a personal, hippy-dippy way, but I am referring to how being centered relates to my wine and food experiences.
I choose “centered” over "balance" because to me it speaks to balanced wine and balanced palate (and mind and body). Here are 4 reasons why you might try “centered” as a goal word:
